Channel Island PR firm opens Guernsey office

A Channel Island public relations consultancy has opened a new office within Betley Whitehorne’s St Peter Port building.

PR Manager Marco Ciotti has launched the Guernsey office of Direct Input. The PR consultancy is co-located with Betley Whitehorne, at 55 Le Bordage. Marco said that the move has come in response to increasing demand:

‘The company started in St Helier but now has a growing number of Guernsey clients, so it was time for us to have a permanent presence here in Guernsey. The aim is to consolidate our services in the island and to grow by offering the right blend of expertise, local knowledge and customer service. We have already picked up several more clients.’

After an incredible run of pitch wins, our creative and strategic approach delivered another new client. Betley Whitehorne were appointed as the agency to promote the launch of the new Smith Street Post Office, for Guernsey Post. Guernsey Post’s marketing manager, Paul McCormick, wanted to promote the differing levels of products and services available from the new branch. Betley Whitehorne Launch Guernsey Memory Walk 2008 website

The Guernsey Memory Walk will take place on Sunday 28th September and Betley Whitehorne has launched the new website, which will feature an online registration facility.

All money raised from the Memory Walk will go to the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers, and the Maison Million Appeal, which is raising money in order to provide a local Alzheimer’s care unit.

You can get full details on the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Society, details of the walk, register online and download a sponsorship form on the website.

UPDATE: Well done to all the walkers on Sunday, the event was a great success, aided in part by the Memory Walk website. Over half the people who pre-registered did so via the website:

New Director at Betley Whitehorne

Betley Whitehorne are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Smith as a
new director of the company. Paul joined Betley Whitehorne in March 2006 following 12 years London agency experience, and is delighted to have been appointed a director of the successful Guernsey based advertising and design company.

Paul says “It’s a great opportunity for me, and an exciting time for the company.
Before moving to Guernsey I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find work which offered the same level of creativity and high profile client base. Soon after being introduced to Betley Whitehorne I realised I was wrong, and I haven’t looked back since.”
