In a recent ceremony at the German Embassy in London, Chris Betley was formally appointed by Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger as the new Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany to Guernsey.
This position has been vacant since the departure of the previous Honorary Consul, Dr. Arno Burr, in March 2007.
