It looks like Final Cut Pro X has been ruined, with a slew of featured removed from the latest version. This is professional software (hence the Pro bit in the name), not something that’s meant to be easy for home users. That’s why iMovie exists. Anyway, check out the funny video above.

UK Government Gets My Vote

June 3rd, 2011 · Ric · No Comments

The alpha of the future gov.uk website is a user centric tour de force. The site is still under heavy development but has been released early to generate feedback which is vital for such a revolutionary design. HT(RON)ML5 Goodness

June 3rd, 2011 · Ric · No Comments

Microsoft and Disney have partnered to bring you an HTML5 powered TRON extravaganza. The simple, sideways sweeping interface works equally as well with mouse, keyboard or touch screens. It’s great to see this is possible using open, cross platform technologies, and offers a glimpse at the type of graphics available in Windows 8 HTML based apps when they arrive next year.

Microsoft throw out the controller (again)

May 12th, 2011 · Ric · No Comments

Last year Microsoft launched the Kinect, a controllerless, gesture and voice based interface for the XBOX360. It’s become the fastest selling consumer electronics product ever which is very impressive when you consider the opposition it faced. It was an amazingly innovative product that made sci-fiction a reality for anyone. However it required a camera to detect your movements, so now they’ve gone a step further.
