Responsible for the identity, graphics and digital requirements the agency is looking forward to this exciting new cultural festival in May 2010.
The first Guernsey Photography Festival will be held in St Peter Port featuring exhibitions by renowned international photographers Simon Norfolk, Josef Koudelka and Judah Passow.
The festival will also feature community activities, with competitions and exhibitions featuring work by local photographers, both amateur and professional. Read more
20 years and one day ago you used to be able to believe what your eyes told you — a picture never lied. Then Photoshop was born and everything changed. It’s come a long way in that time and continues to amaze with new features and ideas keeping it at the top for a long time. It has to be one of the most successful pieces of software ever. Here is a satellite view of Great Britain, taken during the week, showing the vast snow coverage. When you look at it from this angle it’s not a wonder Britain has been at a standstill.
Paul Smith, an active member of Guernsey Photographic Club, has been awarded the Bridel Shield for best Colour Print Open Subject at the club’s annual championships. His winning image, Dawn on the Loch, was taken during Paul’s bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats. The photo was also awarded the Guernsey Photographic Club Trophy for Best Overall Colour Print.
Here is a series of photographs by Dean Rogers, with a dark undertone. These photographs were shot at the scene of death of famous heroes killed in car crashes. It includes Jackson Pollock, Marc Bolan, Albert Camus, Helmut Hewton, Eddie Cochrane and one of the most famous crash victims, Princess Diana. Each photograph was shot at the time of death on the anniversary of the death of each of the crash victims.

I don’t. Or rather, I don’t believe that this ad (which appeared over the weekend in a colour supplement) IN ANY WAY reflects what Guernsey truly has to offer (and that’s putting it mildly).
