Gary has not long returned from his annual trip to Herm. Not far from his home town of St Peter Port but a great escape none-the-less. He spent most of his short trip relaxing on the beach and digging holes (it was too cold for a swim). He did have time for a little culture too and visited the Anthony Gormley sculpture looking over the island.

Gary was very impressed with Mont Saint-Michel on a recent trip to Brittany. He decided that he should spend more time in France and perhaps even learn french sign language.

Gary enjoys a Coca Cola on his Aurigny flight to Manchester, he knew that it wasn’t good for him but thought he would need all the energy he could get to take on the 10 Peaks challenge, albeit over three days instead of one.
He was excited about the trip and the cold weather didn’t worry him. He wasn’t in the best shape of his life but knew the route should be manageable over the weekend.

It’s been a while since Gary returned from his trip to Australia. He says he’s only just got over the jet lag and has recently found some images of the holiday to share. We all know Gary loves to travel and experience the local culture and his little woolly body just loved Australia. He took in all the tourist sites and made quite a connection with some of the local wildlife. Gary tells me he enjoyed the pokies, barbies and stubbies. I have no idea what he is talking about!
What a year for little Gary, he has been all over the place. In 2009 the pink fella travelled to Scotland, Russia, Australia, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Wales. What will 2010 have in-store for him?

Gary is certainly turning into a fine cultured young character, a far cry from the homeless and abandoned state he was found in. Since being adopted by the Betley Whitehorne team Gary has been travelled to Germany, Russia, Scotland, Australia and the width of South America all in the space of a year.
