New website brings Guernsey’s volunteers and charities together

April 3rd, 2012 · Chris · No Comments is a new website designed to introduce Guernsey’s army of ‘helping hands’ with an array of suitable charity events, or specific roles, all crying out for assistance.

The brainchild of Guernsey’s long serving charity champion, Sarah Bamford, provides an ‘introductory service’ for the Island’s voluntary sector, by creating a notice board for charity events and allowing potential volunteers to ‘pick & choose’ their preferences.

All content is user-generated, and relies on an enthusiasm for ongoing support from Guernsey’s charities (there are over 360 of them on an Island sized just 25 square miles, all desperate for regular help) and volunteers.

Betley Whitehorne designed the distinctive identity, built the website and created memorable support material, including the Facebook page (please visit and Like it!).
