It looks like Final Cut Pro X has been ruined, with a slew of featured removed from the latest version. This is professional software (hence the Pro bit in the name), not something that’s meant to be easy for home users. That’s why iMovie exists. Anyway, check out the funny video above.

Our Paul storms the Itex Walk in practise for 10 Peaks Challenge

June 7th, 2011 · Chris · No Comments

BW’s Paul Smith ran this year’s Itex ‘Round Guernsey’ Walk as a training prelude to his own event that takes place in July, The 10 Peaks Challenge.

Paul won Saturday’s 40 mile Itex Walk in a time of 6hrs 55mins – 20 minutes quicker than his own winning time from last year!

‘The Itex Walk isn’t a race, as such, but a great challenge’, explained Paul. ‘But with my 10 Peaks Challenge coming up in just under a month’s time, I wanted to use this as a good training exercise. Huge thanks to all the marshals and event organisers who continue to do a fantastic job.’

The 10 Peaks Challenge is a non-stop hike/run over the 10 highest peaks in The Lake District, and takes place on the weekend of 2nd July.

Well done, Paul!

Hit the homepage and you aren’t overwhelmed by crowded navigation and one thousand options, instead there is a friendly, Bing inspired search box. This clever hits at it’s use and offers a couple of examples, and when you type it rapidly offers suggestions. Type in book and it offers book a driving test, renew a library book, book a sports facility etc. All very diverse but all of them are tasks — actions to be performed.
