Cruising in Guernsey

Guernsey has become something of a magnet for cruise ships in recent years. It certainly provides a spectacular sight, when majestic beauties such as the Grand Princess drop anchor off St Peter Port, almost overshadowing nearby Herm Island.

Microsoft throw out the controller (again)

Last year Microsoft launched the Kinect, a controllerless, gesture and voice based interface for the XBOX360. It’s become the fastest selling consumer electronics product ever which is very impressive when you consider the opposition it faced. It was an amazingly innovative product that made sci-fiction a reality for anyone. However it required a camera to detect your movements, so now they’ve gone a step further.
