Digital Projection at Saks, New York

November 25th, 2010 · Paul · No Comments

I was very impressed with this digital projection on the façade of Saks’ flagship store on Fifth Avenue, New York. This was made possible by six state-of-the-art projectors. An accurate map of the building and its features are stored in the computer system to enable the animation to interact with the building. This technology brings a completely new dimension to window displays and I’m sure we will be seeing more use of this in the future.
