Take a closer look with Seadragon

Many moons ago I posted a blog about Deep Zoom and Silverlight, a technology that lets you seemlessly zoom into images to see amazing detail. Well now Microsoft Labs have launched Seadragon.com, a website that lets you make zoomable images for free. It looks best with Silverlight installed, but it should also work for those of you who don’t have it. It’s very fast, very slick and very cool. The above photo is of the Betley Whitehorne office.

    Wow, that’s impressive. If I zoom in, I can see the top windows could do with a clean!
