Who broke Google?

Google is broken

Whilst I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of Google Chrome as I don’t want Google to taking over the entire internet the Chrome Experiments website really shows off the browsers’ power. You can try using other browser too but they might not be as quick (or work at all if you’re running IE)!

Coldplay’s Video for ‘Strawberry Swing’

July 22nd, 2009 · Ash · 1 Comment

Music Video for Strawberry Swing by Coldplay

In the video for Coldplay’s track Strawberry Swing, frontman Chris Martin becomes a superhero in a world drawn entirely in chalk. In this charming video Chris Martin goes to battle with a giant squirrel to save the girl.

The video has been promoted online but is also due to be shown in cinemas before certain films. I personally like the idea of getting to watch a music video before a film as opposed to a trailer for yet another comedy featuring Will Farrell.

…like this very cool ‘augmented reality’ card that uses your webcam to superimpose a video in three dimensional space on your screen. Clever stuff.

The key ring is dead

July 17th, 2009 · Paul · 1 Comment

Split_Ring_Key…long live the Split Ring Key.

Another simple but brilliant idea — why carry around a key and a key ring when one thing can do both? This key / keyring is designed by Scott Amron of Amron Experimental and allows you to attach your keys together.

Blank keys are available for $7 for a pack of two at www.amronexperimental.com/Split-Ring-Key.html
