Fresh from his adventures in Russia, jet-setting Gary has been on the move again, this time to Hamburg, Germany, and has kindly provided a few of his snap shots to share.

At Guernsey Airport, Gary was so excited at the prospect of another flight that he almost turned purple. But not as excited as when he arrived at Heathrow’s T5, when he did temporarily turn a shade darker (or was he just out of focus?).

The T5 breakfast wasn’t quite as attractive as the building, but Gary didn’t care – he just wanted to get his mitts on the eggs and bacon.
On arrival in Hamburg, Gary couldn’t resist a spot of posing whilst he waited for the train, which was on time and spotless. Gary was impressed.
The local police weren’t so impressed with Gary, though, when he blocked traffic in front of the Rathaus (town hall) the next day. A stern word from the Polizei and Gary was on his way.

Gary then almost had a heart attack when he came across the latest addition to the Hamburg ambulance service – it’s what’s under the bonnet that counts, he kept trying to reassure himself (and at the same time resisting the urge to lift the bonnet to see if it had already Vorsprung its durch Technik).
Later that day, Gary felt a lot better. His interview with top ad agency Springer & Jacoby had gone well. He hadn’t understood too many of the questions, but felt sure that he was exactly the shade of pink that the creative director was after. Sadly, he later learned that they were really looking for socks, not gloves. Oh well, Guernsey’s not such a bad place – and Gary couldn’t stop thinking about the ambulance! Whilst it was good to be on holiday, it was always better to be back home.
