Gary, the most charismatic member of the Betley Whitehorne team, recently took a well deserve break in St Petersburg, Russia. I was lucky enough to be allowed to tag along with him and here are a few snaps of his trip. Pictured above is his visit to the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood.

Above: Gary takes a closer look at this Russian sign. No one was able to translate the word ‘offthe’.

Above: Gary gets some sun in the Palace square outside the Hermitage. In the background your can see the Alexander Column which is supported only by it’s own mass.

Above: The smooth talking Gary gets to pose with a local lady near the Hermitage. It is one of the largest and oldest museums in the world with over 3 million items, including the largest collection of paintings in the world. It’s well worth a look but be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
Left: Gary had been drinking a little too much of the rather smooth Russian Vodka and thought he was a sock.
Below: How does a fish taste? With it’s tongue! Gary is rescued from the mouth of a giant Russia Stone Speckled Trout.

My goodness, Gary has been busy. Following swiftly on the heels of his Russian adventure, I hear he’s just recently returned from Germany (some pics of his Hamburg trip will be posted soon). Where to next, I wonder?
