It’s now possible for you to run a bath before even arriving home, via the medium of the ever-developing iPhone. The Bath-O-Matic software is available free from the Apple App Store, but users must pay £4,000 to have the technology installed at home.
The user can select the temperature, depth and fragrance of the water, and even how many bubbles are desired, by sending instructions to a set of high tech taps on the tub, so that the bath is ready when they get home. Unique Automation, the company that has created this invention, have been displaying this week at a London trade fair, and has plans for a similar show-based invention to come soon.
Personally, I think I’d rather save the £4,000 and wait the standard 15 minutes for my bath to run, but perhaps if I had more money than sense, I’d see this as an essential time saving device?
