Canadian Digital User Experience and Design agency Teehan+Lax started an experiment in 2005 inspired by the findings of the ‘Design Index’ study carried out by the UK Design Council. They wanted to test the theory that companies that value good design and a high level of user experience will be more successful, profitable and thus out perform the stock market average.

iPhone software can now run you a bath

Stanley Gibbons – stamp dealers and publishers since 1856 and more recently recognised as the home for autographs, collectibles and alternative investments, has recently taken a radical new approach to their advertising after collaborating with Guernsey design agency, Betley Whitehorne.

The agency has produced a series of adverts for Stanley Gibbons’ investment arm, highlighting the high return potential of collectibles such as signed photographs, documents and personal items from celebrities and historical figures such as Winston Churchill and Marilyn Monroe.

Betley Whitehorne is now part of The Gate Worldwide

London, Edinburgh, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai…and now Guernsey.

The Gate Worldwide has today announced its purchase of a minority equity stake in Guernsey ad agency Betley Whitehorne, for an undisclosed sum.

The Gate, a full service, integrated communications agency specialising in financial services, has a presence in many of the main markets around the globe and has long recognised the importance of the Channel Islands. The new purchase and partnership with Betley Whitehorne will now provide both agencies with the best of both worlds for many of its clients.
