The London Olympic committee has revealed that the logo for 2012 was actually an April fool. Unveiled in June 2007 the logo was greeted with mixed reaction but mainly disgust by athletic design purists. Its new-rave/80’s throw back style was a departure from the classic five colour ring pieces that we are normally accustomed to.
