Another one of those ideas that you wish you’d thought of! Simple and obvious just like the packaging.
Started with the simple idea of creating a new bottled water brand that is kinder to the environment and gives back a bit — we found that it shouldn’t be bottled at all, but instead, boxed. So we looked to the past for inspiration in the century old beverage container and decided to keep things simple, sustainable, and beautiful.

Once upon a time when the internet was young and a 56k modem was an item of envy there were two main web browsers battling for supremacy, Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer. After a long, hard fought fight Internet Explorer won the war and became the browser of choice with nearly 95% of the market, and it’s remained top of the pile ever since. At it’s peak it was arguably the best browser on the market but in recent years the competition have regrouped and launched a major offensive, the two main combatants are Mozilla’s Firefox and Apple’s Safari with the former in particular taking great strides into Internet Explorer territory. As a web developer at Betley Whitehorne I feel it’s my responsibility to educate you as to why you NEED to update your browser. This little quote might help convince you:
In 2006, citing its lack of security, PC World magazine named Internet Explorer 6 eighth on their list of the “25 worst tech products of all time”.

Friday 20th March, a chilly evening. Paul and Adam are inside Le Cocq Du Nord in St Sampsons, they’re hands griped on steel. It is the final of The Heineken Champions League Table Football Competition. The prize you say? An unbelievable all expenses paid trip to a CL quarter final.
The preliminary stages of the tournament were held in four different locations, The Last Post, The Brewery, Le Cocq Du Nord and the Albert Arms. Our competition began at the Albert Arms where we overcame four teams and were catapulted
into the semi finals.
Cue the training montage, Paul ‘The Wall’ Smith and Adam ‘Rocket’ Roberts went all out. 3 ½ pints and two practice sessions later and we were ready to go. Read more

In Guernsey there are stories of large, black dogs, shackled with chains, stalking the many winding roads in the upper parishes. I wonder if they are anything like this amazing, but also rather disturbing robot called Big Dog. The movement is both natual and unnatural. Although it does look a little like the legs of two people in black trousers.

Finally the world of puzzles has merged with the world of Pantone. This one off Rubiks cube (not sure if it is official) is by designer Ignacio Pilotto. I have included a link here to the website of origin but it is all in French. I know if I did ever have one I would never complete it, but it looks pretty. This is not available in the shops.

For the last few days we’ve had a bright yellow bird, which we believe to be a Great Tit, tapping on our office windows. Thinking that it’s trying to tell us something we’ve created a Twitter account. You can follow us here: http://twitter.com/bwguernsey
