Forget real models to advertise your business, plasticine is back and its fashionable. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Agness Deyn and now Wallace. When Harvey Nichols were launching their new store in Bristol they got some help from the west country’s famous exports, Wallace and Gromit. The campaign was created by DDB London with photography by Giles Revell.
The pair were great to work with, they can definitely hold a pose.

The plasticine catwalk doesn’t end there, on the March subscriber cover of Esquire we are greeted by the original model gentleman, Morph. Created by the wonderful Tony Hart, the issue celebrates Morph’s 30th birthday. In the spreads he is accompanied by his mate Chaz, and the little plasticine chap finally dons some clothes. However these tiny outfits are from Gucci, Burberry and Prada. I guess he was just saving up.
