I having been meaning to write this blog for a while, sorry that it is now out of date. The Royal Mail has released this series of stamps celebrating British design classics. They include the London bus, Harry Becks Underground map, the mini skirt, Spitfire, the Mini, Penguin book covers and Concorde.
If you would like to buy this set or for more information go to what I like to call The Super Regal Stamp Machine but everyone else calls Royal Mail.
The stamps will be issues on 13 January 2009. A “prestige stamp book”, issued alongside the stamps, will provide a more extensive background and history of the designs.
