
I had recently blogged about a font clock which made it into my top five clocks. There is now another clock that has sledgehammered its way onto the list, the analog digital clock.
At RISD, BFA candidate Alvin Aronson has made the beautiful "d/a clock," in which seven-segment LED numbers are made manifest in Corian and wood.

This is great, although a bit slow in the transitions. I can see it working nicely if built flush to an existing wall. Especially with a bit of directional lighting.
