Greenhouse Exhibition: Pens & Lens

A new exhibition opens at the Greenhouse organised by the Film, Writers and Poets Sub-Committee of the new Guernsey Arts Commission, of locally sourced literature and film.

Poetry and Prose readings will be scheduled throughout the evening of Thursday 26th June between 5.30pm – 7.30pm. As well as the readings there will two short films (arranged by CinéGuernsey) designed to transport you through the power of film into a poetic world.

Exhibition runs until 17th July, exhibited poetry will change weekly.

Free Accompanying Events:

Saturday 5th July: Poetry Writing Workshop, led by local writer and poet Pippa McCathie.
2.30pm – 5.00pm in the greenhouse.

Saturday 12th July: Lunchtime poetry and prose reading
12.00pm – 1.00pm in the greenhouse. All are welcome.

Tuesday 15th July: Talk given by UK film director, Peter Kershaw, on the challenges of merging poetry and film.
7.00pm – 8.15pm in the greenhouse.
