The London Olympics logo was revealed quite a while ago but it still raises debate. Whatever you say about it, it is very memorable. But what do you think of the 2012 Olympic Logo? After suffering from an ongoing achilles injury my marathon preparation got off to a slow start this year but after deferring my entry last year because of a broken foot I knew I would loose my place if I didn’t start clocking up the miles. 

The new Google office in Zurich has a very fun and quirky interior, it’s like nothing you’ll find in Guernsey. (or just about anywhere else) I think most companies wouldn’t even dream about creating such a working environment. Perhaps Google’s success is a sign that they should be thinking about making their offices a more interesting and fun place to be. After all the office is not the natural environment of humans, it’s something we’ve constructed but not really thought about changing, offices have remained fundamentally very similar for a long time.
An exhibition which explores art in the public realm, considering its breadth, range and positive social and cultural impacts upon the community. As part of the Guernsey Arts Commission’s mandate to raise the profile and provision of Public Art in the island, this exhibition considers the possible adoption of Public Art in Guernsey. With examples from leading British sculptor Antony Gormley, and also examples from around the globe in the accompanying exhibition publication.
