This may be a couple of years old now but it’s still a great piece of animation. It was created by Alan Becker in 2006 and has now been updated with smoother graphics.
Click on the image, or the following link to view the animation, then click play and sit back and enjoy a piece of creative brilliance.
Alan has created version 2 of the animation which can be seen on his DeviantArt website: alanbecker.deviantart.com

There are a plethora of stickman animations on the web and it’s easy to dismiss this as just another one, but it’s much more than that.
Our hero may be comprised of a few bendy lines and a wobbly circle, but he’s still smoothly animated. What sets this animation apart from the rest is the setting; the action takes place within Flash - the software used to make the animation. It’s an interesting and lateral twist. I particularly enjoy when the figure is still within the bounding-box near the beginning, and the novel use of the lasso tool.
