Kids Republic Bookshop

A book playgroundWhy can’t all children’s bookshops look like this! It’s a great example of how considered, intelligent design works.

Japanese architect Keiichiro Sako’s fairytale world incorporates huge story telling screens and is full of rainbow colours. The Beijing bookshop is more like a children’s play area than a traditional bookshop — a place to inspire children and adults alike.
